Pawfect Nursing & Grooming Terms & Conditions
Animal Welfare
As a Registered Veterinary Nurse your pet’s welfare will always be my priority and I will work with your dog, at his or her own pace. If your dog has fears or there are behavioral difficulties, I will arrange and appropriate plan for moving forward with you.
Condition Of Coat
A dog groomer quotes on the basis that the dogs coat will be brushed and knot free. Obviously, this is unrealistic with our busy lives, however excessive knots will incur additional charges.
When the fur is matted close to the skin, I will do what’s right for your dog, and use a short enough blade to get under the matt rather than drag through it which causes pain. This is explained in the matted dog release form which you will be given.
Appointment Times & Cancellations
Please ensure you let me know in advance if you need to cancel your appointment, allowing me time to fill the slot. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, you may need to re schedule.
If cancelling an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, or arriving more than 15 minutes late, I may require you to pay in full prior to your next booking, and a £10 cancellation fee may be charged to cover loss of earnings.
Extra Charges
Matting Close to the skin £5 extra
Late Cancellation / No Show £10 charge
Difficult / Aggressive Dogs £5 extra
Unfinished Grooms If a dog is very difficult, and does not allow me to finish the groom in the given time, the full groom will still need to be paid for, any extra time or another appointment for the same groom will be extra.
Personal Pledge I work as a veterinary nurse, doing dog grooming, meaning my priority is the health, welfare and happiness of the dog. I work to build a relationship with each dog and learn how best to groom them as an individual, I listen to your dog and work with them for their best experience.
